Lynwood USD School Closures and Food Service for Lynwood Community Children Ages 1-18
Hello Washington Families,
The Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools has announced that it is recommended that our school closures are extended until at least May 5th. It is very important that you and your child’s teacher are in constant communication. All teachers have been reaching out to students and parents either via email, Google Classroom, Aeries Communication, Remind app, Class Dojo, or personal phone calls. Please make sure that your child is checking his or her email and Google Classroom every day. As always, thank you for your support and we will continue to work together through this unique time. Please take care.
For questions, please call the Lynwood District Hotline at (310) 635-2807 or contact our principal, Ms. Verduzco, at [email protected].
Lynwood Unified will continue to provide food services to the community’s children, ages 1-18, as we work through school closures. Lunch will be served beginning on Monday, March 16, while both breakfast and lunch will be available at five school sites starting on Tuesday, March 17.
Meal Pick Up: Serving Days:
Mon-Fri-- Breakfast and Lunch will be served together beginning on 3/17 from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. Meals will be obtained through a drive-through service or walk-up for families without vehicle transportation. Children must be physically present to receive a meal. All meals will be taken offsite to decrease the risk of spreading germs.
